In this hands-on workshop, you’ll verify your eligibility for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and apply for the program using the online application! ACP is a permanent, government program that helps qualifying low-income households pay for internet service and connected devices. In some cases, depending on your internet plan, the ACP discount may help you get home internet for free! This program replaces the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) program and expands the eligibility requirements so more people are eligible to participate. Once your application is accepted, contact an Internet Service Provider about getting home internet.

Recommended Prerequisite: Affordable Home Internet Lecture.

This workshop is offered both in person or online. To join us in person at Dress for Success New Orleans, park in our lot behind 1700 Josephine Street and ring the doorbell at the second awning, double door entrance. If you are traveling via mass transit we are off the St. Charles Avenue Streetcar at Josephine and the Number 91 bus line at Jackson Ave. & Brainard and a short walk from the Number 15 O C Haley & Jackson Ave bus stop.

If you are unable to attend in person, join us online, with your unique url in your registration confirmation email at the designated time of the workshop. All female participants who attend will receive a voucher for three items from the DFSNO Suiting Center. Call Tracee at 504-891-4337 with any questions.
